Film Portraits

My Sophomore year of college I went to Mankato State and that is where I took my first black and white film photography class. I used a Nikon FM 10 and I fell in love with the process. It was so exciting to anticipate how your film turned out. Unlike digital I can’t look at it right away, so it is like receiving a gift every time I get my film back. Being able to learn how much work goes into developing film myself was so fun, and calming to be in the dark room. I wish I could always do it myself.

Photos taken on manual Nikon FM 10, Disposable cameras, and Point and shoot film cameras.
